Missoula Children’s Theatre
Pinocchio on stage at the Braumart! 49 young local actors worked with coaches from Missoula Children's Theatre to bring you "Pinocchio" on July 30!
It works like this: a team of Tour Actor/Directors arrives in a given town with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play...except the cast. The team holds an open audition and casts local students to perform in the production. The show is rehearsed throughout the week and two public performances are presented on Saturday. All MCT shows are original adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairy-tales . . . a twist on the classic stories that you know and love. MCT's mission is the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.

Pictured here after the final show, the coaches have packed their truck and are ready to ride off to another Pinocchio adventure! Thanks for all your work, Justin and Kate!
FOTB Officers John Estes and Timothy Haagensen attended the League of Historic American Theatres conference in Chicago July 17-20. These conferences are an incredible opportunity to meet theater experts from all over the U.S. and Canada and learn about all aspects of running a historic theater. The conference included a day-long tour of historic theaters.
They're from a little town called Brooklyn, and they've been singing a cappella for over 50 years. What do they sing? Rock, soul, doo-wop, gospel, folk, pop, you name it, they can sing it! They graced the Braumart stage on July 2, 2016.
